Un film de Constantin Popescu despre rezistența anticomunistă din Munții Făgăraș a grupului condus de Ion Gavrilă Ogoranu.
În cartea sa – Romania observed – istoricul britanic Dennis Deletant îl citează pe luptătorul anticomunist cu privire la mentalitățile și atitudinile românilor acelei epoci zbuciumate (instaurarea comunismului în mediul rural):
the others are the great mass of hard-working people, whose lives are reduced to toil and the next meal, in an eternal cycle. Their conscience do not rise above the bowl of food in front of their noses. They are so down-trodden and conditioned to their down-trodden state that they cannot and will not look beyond. Their eyes are those of a mole. They hate anyone who wants to deliver them from their servitude. The authorities can do what they like with them, in the first instance, to do their thinking for them. Its just as my friend Ghiță used to say: „if the order came for one half of the village to drive out the other half, they would carry it out.
Le zice bine, nu? Atunci, ca și acum. Știu, generalizările sunt periculoase șamd, dar când ai făcut ceea ce puțin au avut curajul de a face – lupta cu arma în mână împotriva comuniștilor – ai tot dreptul să generalizezi.

Din pacate acest film a aprins spiritele inca inainte sa fie vazut. Cred ca evreii ar trebui sa inceteze sa se mai simta persecutati atata timp cat ei au fost si par sa redevina cei mai mari persecutori ai lumii.
