Republica Populară Chineză a detronat Germania din poziția de cel mai mare exportator pe plan mondial:
WIESBADEN – According to provisional data of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), Germany exported commodities to the value of Euro 803.2. billion and imported commodities to the value of Euro 667.1 billion in 2009. German exports in 2009 thus were 18.4% and imports 17.2% below the respective 2008 levels. This was the highest decline recorded in foreign trade in relation to both imports and exports since 1950.
As regards the world’s top exporting nations, Germany as the largest exporter was overtaken by China in 2009. According to information of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Chinese exports amounted to US $ 1,201.7 billion, while German exports totalled US $ 1,121.3 billion in that year.

Săptămâna aceasta iranienii sărbătoresc 31 de ani de când au renunțat să mai încerce să fie ca occidentalii decadenți și s-au întors în Evul Mediu. Șahul cel rău, sprijinit de englezi și americani, a plecat, teocrația cea bună s-a instaurat.

HMS Vanguard

progres hibernal
Scriam acum ceva timp, în decembrie anul trecut, despre excelentele servicii feroviare din România. Atunci am așteptat 6 ore în Gara de Nord un tren accelerat care în final nu a mai plecat deloc….
Ei bine se pare că de atunci lucrurile au progresat. Acceratul de astăzi, pe aceeași distanță și în condiții meteo mai vitrege, nu a întârziat „decât” 30 de minute la plecare. În rest, a ajuns la timp. E ceva ciudat în toată povestea asta, mistic, o întârziere mult prea mică, uman-vestică aproape…
Probabil e strigătul de lebădă al mult-iubitei SNCFR, care – dacă se continuă actuala politică managerială – nu are decât 2 soluții în viitorul nu foarte îndepărtat: falimentul sau privatizarea pe 1 euro/dolar.

Ca explicație sintetică a frazelor bolduite – amestec de paranoie rusă și mod de a înțelege realitățile internaționale ce ține de epoci demult apuse – Turnofftheglory cita un comentariu de pe forumul Softpedia: „Vecinul de langa mine tocmai si-a montat o usa antiefractie. Mi se pare c-are o atitudine belicoasa. Cred ca in apartament are un intreg arsenal. Protestez: usa blindata a vecinului reprezinta o reala amenintare pentru mine. Ce sa fac ? ma duc sa-i sabotez usa/scutul sau astept sa ma atace cu usa?”
